The function of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure that all warehouse operations (distribution, production, inventory / Quality control) are completed in the most effective and cost efficient manner on a day-to-day basis. In addition, the Warehouse Manager is expected to suggest improvements to increase efficiencies and to cut costs.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Manages and controls cycle counting program, including design and implementation of the program and any needed changes.
Monitors and controls all materials logged into the receiving department; ensures materials are staged for counting and inspection; ensures receiving reports accurately report the material received.
Resolves discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices, packing slips, and receiver reports.
Monitors the flow of paperwork from receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
Ensures materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
Oversees the rotation of inventories within the warehouse
Plan work, coordinates and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
Contributes to the financial objectives of the company by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Maintain records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, inventory audit, and report the discrepancies to upper management.
Work closely and cooperates with the “Quality Control” team within the warehouse and adjusts production as necessary.
Manage, along with the production supervisor, the team of assemblers to ensure that schedules and forecasts are prepared accurately and in a timely fashion.
Proficient listening, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read, write and speak English
Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, inventory, shipping and customer service.
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
Good written & verbal communication skills.
Ability to gather data, compile Information, & prepare reports.
Well organized, detail oriented, & able to handle fast paced work environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate and work with employees at all levels of the company.
Ability to work independently & prioritize with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines.
Proven leadership and managerial skills.
Ability to convey important information using Excel spreadsheets (Expert Level)
Manage the warehouse team.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or 5 years’ experience in warehouse management in lieu of the degree.
At least 7 years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience in a distribution environment
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is absolutely required.
Working knowledge of QuickBooks.
